Descripción

Definición
El código CIIU, corresponde a la actividad secundaria que desarrolla la empresa. Para el efecto de esta investigación se debe utilizar la Clasificación Industrial Internacional Uniforme Cuarta Revisión (CIIU4).

El código consta de 7 dígitos, en el 1er. dígito, debe ir la letra que identifica al sector económico (B para Minería; C para Manufactura, F para Construcción, etc), los 6 siguientes dígitos, será para registrar el código que corresponde a la actividad señalada.

La variable CIIU4 de la actividad secundaria es de uso interno, obtenida del directorio de empresas.
